Boat part number 1066606 is a new, automatic fire extinguisher from Sea-Fire, part number FG-125A .
Many fire suppression systems can cause major damage to – and even destroy – the very things they are supposed to protect. You're looking to avoid damage – not cause it! You want a fire suppression system that deploys quickly and cleanly and won't leave behind oily residue, particulate, or water. FM-200 fire suppressant stops fires fast!
Sea-Fire suppression systems are designed to protect enclosed compartments. Operates automatically through heat activation. Discharge occurs if the sensor valve temperature rises to the system activation point. Made to induce minimum atmospheric concentration of 8.7% within the protected compartment. This marine fire extinguisher is for use in spaces up to 125 cubic feet and fit most marine vessel engine compartments.
FM-200 fire suppressant can be safely used where people are present.
Measures approximately 4 1/4" in diameter x 16" in height overall. For mounting, there are (4) 1/4" dia. mounting holes on the attached bracket. There are also (2) wire leads that activate the automatic discharge feature. Please note that this fire extinguisher comes pre-charged.
